The team also supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.

Intern Job Description

The Order Tech Technical Analyst Intern will work on a team of professionals whose focus is in two key areas: First, reviewing the feature requirements and design for correctness and completeness and providing any necessary feedback to the product owners, architects, or developers. Second, the Technical Analyst Intern will work with one or more Senior Analysts to decompose the work into actionable user stories and will shepherd them through the grooming process.

The Order Tech Technical Analyst Intern will work with a broad cross-section of people and teams within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. This includes business stakeholders, product owners, architects, business analysts, development team leads, and developers.

What are some interesting problems the intern will work on?

In your role, you will bridge the gap between the solution design created by architects and the development teams. You will have the opportunity to see features through the lens of business owners, product teams, and the technical teams. Each discipline has its own concerns and perspectives, and we believe it will be valuable for interns to see the evolution of a feature as it matures.

Where can this intern make an impact?

You will have the opportunity to see features being designed and also to take designed features and get them to and through the Scrum Grooming process.

Job Responsibilities

Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Understand the feature(s) being developed.

Make sure all requirements and design elements are represented in User Stories.

Work with the product owners, solution designers, and developers to refine and clarify stories.

Participate in story grooming.


Preferred Skills


Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exposure to Scrum and User Stories would be helpful

Previous exposure to software development preferred


Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements


Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university

Rising Junior or Rising Senior with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023, Spring 2024, December 2024 or Spring 2025.

Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship

Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program

Recommended GPA: 3.0 (candidates will be evaluated on overall skills, education, and experience)
