Accounts Payable Manager

We’re searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing Accounting team. The person in this role will be responsible for implementing best-practice policies to ensure the accurate, timely processing and reporting of payables. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-starting, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual with an eye for process improvement and a knack for working independently in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process including month-end and year-end reporting and audit support
Oversee the operation and enhancement of our recently implemented Coupa procure-to-pay system
Supervise, coach, and train a team of three on procedures, controls, and issue resolution
Manage escalated issues with vendors and internal company personnel with tact and diplomacy
Monitor AP aging to ensure timely payments are made
Monitor AP department performance metrics to provide insight to development or resource needs
Own the corporate credit card program, including P-cards, employee, and executive cards
Administer the travel and expense policy and manage our T&E platform, Expensify
Oversee the tracking and collection of tenant allowance for our retail stores
Provide input on the long-term AP department strategy, including identifying process, technology, and control improvements; assist with their implementation
Requirements:
The proud owner of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar focus
Backed by 7 years of relevant experience including in a supervisory role
Driven by excellent organizational and customer service skills
Someone with incredibly strong interpersonal skills, whether you’re communicating internally and externally
Experience with Coupa and Netsuite is a plus!
