Were looking for a Senior Product Designer to plan, define and design an impactful design system and product experience to drive growth and build trust with our customers. Youll develop new visual components and interaction patterns at a systems level and build prototypes that communicate your brand and product vision. Youll support the growth of a best-in-class design team and work closely with engineers to bring your designs to life.

Primary Responsibilities:
Craft, test, and iterate on designs until the most optimal, intuitive and elegant solution is identified
Work with engineers, product managers and designers to ensure we design and ship high quality solutions
Work on the design of our consumer app, enterprise dashboard, and internal tools
Create innovative and creative design solutions that address user and business needs for specific areas of our products

Required Qualifications:
4 years of professional design experience
Experience with mobile app design
Experience designing and documenting your designs for communication and implementation purposes
Experience working through complex workflows using whiteboards, flow charts, wireframes or other visual diagrams
Experience with grid systems, composition, typography, and color
Experience working on large, business critical products
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in design
Experience with web design
Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment
A solid moral compass and commitment to Starships core values of inclusion, empowerment, and trust

The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
