Shift: 1st and 2nd
We are looking for a full-time (36 hours per week), 1st and 2nd Shift RN for our 16-bed Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) in Providence, RI.
The ASU delivers trauma-informed, client-centered, quality care to adults in mental health crises. No restraints are utilized, as our facility is voluntary.
The unit's nurses are responsible for the following:
Assessing, monitoring, and documenting the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, and consulting with providers as needed
Reviewing referrals
Conducting assessments
Reconciling and ordering medications
Administering medications
Providing crisis intervention, milieu management, and health education as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
ASU nursing requires a high degree of client interaction and working as a team. People skills and good bedside manner are a must!

Education/Licensing Requirements:
Seeking an RN, BSN, or ADN.
RI RN licensure required.
