ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER
Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager
who has a solid background in management, training, operational strategy, process improvements and reporting. Pay is $75000 - $80000 / year Responsibilities:
Maintaining proper GL accounts, JE, and daily revision of invoices being processed
Identify and implement new procedures and policies to improve invoicing standards
Month-end close, planning and budgeting for the AP department
Provides research, feedback and decisions to resolve vendor and staff questions and requirements
Compliance on all vendor invoices and statements
Coach, mentor and train AP staff
Ability to work with leadership teams and C-level managers within the organization for reporting, compliance and process improvements
Process 1099 reports and forms at year end and overseeing check runs
Ensuring that all vendor invoices are being paid in a timely manner and payment terms
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree
5-8 years’ experience supervising an AP department of 3 or more employees
Experience in an electronic accounts payable processing environment, including electronic document management
Skills:
Experience working with Great Plains, Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft
Intermediate Excel skills
Driven and detailed to exceed company standards
Sound communication abilities both written and verbal
