Duties

  • Conduct legal research and assist in preparing pleadings, memoranda, and discovery documents.
  • Draft and review contracts, transaction documents, and business compliance-related materials.
  • Prepare responses to administrative charges or complaints filed with agencies such as the NLRB, EEOC, DOL (OSHA/WH), and relevant state agencies.
  • Review and analyze documents for various legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and assist with case preparation.
  • Maintain client files and ensure accurate documentation of all legal activities.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law (Ohio Bar membership preferred).
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Experience or interest in litigation, business compliance, and administrative agency processes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law (Ohio Bar membership preferred).
