Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct thorough and high-quality legal research.
- Assist with all areas of discovery, including drafting requests and responses.
- Prepare legal briefs and other pleadings.
- Collaborate with partner-level attorneys on document production.
- Draft responses to EEOC and MDCR charges.
- Handle various aspects of employment-related litigation.
- Prepare trial materials and attend proceedings.
Requirements
- 3-6 years' experience in employment-related litigation and client counseling.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Good organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in managing discovery and depositions.
- Proficient in online legal research services.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in traditional labor matters is a plus.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admitted to the Michigan State Bar, or eligible for prompt admission.
