Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for their Pittsburgh office.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will handle complex, high-stakes litigation matters with hands-on experience, including depositions and client contact in an AmLaw 200 firm. There will be additional opportunities to work with attorneys at all levels within the Healthcare Litigation Practice Group. Previous experience in professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability is preferred. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, strong research and writing skills, and be admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Duties:

• Handle complex, high-stakes litigation matters
• Conduct depositions and client contact
• Work with attorneys within the Healthcare Litigation Practice Group
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability preferred
• Admission to practice in both Pennsylvania and Ohio
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong research and writing skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in Pennsylvania and Ohio
