A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Senior Attorney in Sacramento, CA, with over eight years of expertise in the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation and defense, with a focus on compliance and wage/hour audits.

Duties

• Manage and oversee PAGA claims, including class action-style lawsuits.
• Develop and execute legal strategies for PAGA claims.
• Monitor and manage the discovery process.
• Provide counsel on compliance with California labor laws.
• Assist clients in developing policies related to wage and hour issues.
• Evaluate and advise on new legislation affecting PAGA claims.
• Foster and expand client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff.

Requirements

• Well-established employment litigation and defense background.
• Significant PAGA/Class/Compliance expertise.
• Jury trial/civil court trial experience preferred.
• Experience with public entity defense is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees.

Certifications

• Member, State Bar of California in good standing.
