Akron office of our client seeks a trial associate attorney with experience. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of legal documents, including motions and briefs; discovery proceedings; trial hearings; briefings. Will be drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefings, and discovery requests; researching and writing complex criminal motions and briefs. Independently handle criminal pre-trials, motion hearings, and plea negotiations; actively assist and participate in criminal jury trials. Generally, preparing every criminal case for a jury trial under the guidance and supervision of experienced attorney(s). Trial and litigation experience preferred. Experience working with complex legal issues is essential. Proficient computer skills are essential.
