Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented and experienced retail leasing attorney for an Associate or Counsel position in Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Chicago, or Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail shopping center leasing.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate leases, subleases, amendments, and related documentation.
• Represent landlords and tenants in lease enforcement and ancillary real estate transactions.
• Manage multiple leases efficiently and build strong client and team relationships.
• Supervise junior attorneys and manage client relationships at the Counsel level.
• Provide strategic guidance on leasing matters and advise on lease administration and compliance.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience for Associate level; at least 8 years for Counsel level.
• Proven track record of managing complex leasing transactions.
• Experience in a large law firm or sophisticated in-house legal department preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the resident-office jurisdiction.
