A law firm seeks a Senior M&A Associate in Akron, OH. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, working on sophisticated transactions and representing top-tier clients. Duties

• Lead and support high-profile M&A transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, and joint ventures.
• Advise clients on strategic matters, including negotiating terms and structuring deals.
• Handle key documents such as purchase agreements and disclosure schedules.
• Manage the due diligence process and client relationships from start to finish.
• Advise on M&A and business entity governance matters.
• Consult on choice of entity and restructuring business entities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Ability to work effectively with teams and independently.
• Licensed or eligible to attain a license to practice law in the State of Ohio.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Ohio or eligibility to obtain.
