Summary

Inspect product in all stages of the process for defects and conformance to engineering and quality specifications.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform product and part inspections and record findings.
• Perform electrical and systems tests and record findings.
• Ensure products are complete using check sheets as required.
• Successfully complete White Tag Final Certification.
• Complete required Operator Standard Work daily.
• Communicate and confirm defects have been corrected with the production team.
• Basic computer and organization skills.
• Ability to problem solve using tools like “ask five whys”.
• Understands Engineering, NMMA, and other industry applicable standards.

 Qualifications

• Must have at least 4 years of experience in a Quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
• Must be able to work a 10-hour shift standing, bending and lifting.
• Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals.
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow all safety standards and procedures
• Must demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience
• Must be able to work well with teams and in close proximity to each other able to understand and follow verbal and written directions in English.
